Irfan Bakti will continue to lead Selangor in 2013

Selangor have officially released their squad list for the 2013 Malaysian Super League campaign, with 11 new faces being confirmed as of now. The Red Giants finished third in this year's Super League campaign, but often struggled for consistency. The Selangor FA promised to ring the changes and has worked hard to draft in new faces within a short span of time as they seek to go gung ho on all fronts next year.

Sharbinee Allawee heads the list of 11 players that were brought in by the Selangor management and the list also includes the likes of Francis Forkey Doe from Terengganu as well as Mahali Jasuli from Harimau Muda A. Sharbinee and Francis Forkey Doe were released from the Turtles after a controversial end to this year's footballing calendar while Mahali represents a major coup as he is a consistent performer for the national team.

Besides that, Negeri Sembilan's pacy flanker S. Kunanlan has also joined the Red Giants while towering striker Afiq Azmi has opted to join Selangor despite impressing during his Malaysia Cup loan stint with Kelantan this year. Irfan Bakti has also been confirmed as the head coach for next year, in which Selangor will aim to bring back silverwares again.

The Secretary General of FAS, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin said: "We have decided to give the responsibility to Irfan Bakti and we have complete trust in his ability to lead Selangor.

"With the arrival of the new faces, we believe that it will be a breath of fresh air for the team and hope that we will be able to bring back trophies next."

Goalkeepers: Norazlan Razali (21), Fairul Azwan Shahrullai (1), Sharbinee Allawee Ramli (25).

Defenders: Ramez Dayoub (5), Nasriq Baharom (6), Asraruddin Putra Omar (4), Bunyamin Umar (12), Adib Aizuddin Latif (7), Mahali Jasuli (18), Fairuz Abdul Aziz (3).

Midfielders: K Gurusamy (15), Fitri Shazwan Raduwan (24), Solihin Kanasian (9), S Veenod (23),
S Kunanlan (16), Shukur Jusoh (8), V Kavichelvan (2), Raimi Md Nor (13).

Forwards: Amri Yahyah (17), Wan Hoesne Wan Hussain (19), Francis Forkey Doe (10), Afiq Azmi (11), Ramzul Zahini Adenan (22).
